Geotextile Membranes
These are used on our driveways where there is a need to provide a barrier between the sub base and the ground beneath - the sub grade. The membrane separates the the layers, preventing the material above from being mixed with the sub grade material beneath.
The geotextile membrane allows surface water to pass through so doesn't affect drainage.
